Spring Break Week

I think maybe we are getting a little progress here with the tingling thing.  I am making it till later in the day before I need to take the medications.  Hopefully all of the supplements, paying attention to diet, and exercising are starting to pay off.  I'm hoping we have turned a corner here.

I don't know if you saw the news the other day about the fire in the Denver area.  I went out to take Leah to work that day and said something about it smelling like smoke.  We are SO dry here.  We haven't had much snow this year and haven't had a good blizzard in a couple of years (which is where we get most of our precipitation).  We are starting to water the grass for the summer season this week.

I've gotten a little behind on my Bible reading this week and have been trying to catch up.  I'm doing one of those chronological plans so I've been reading in Lamentations and Ezekiel this week.  In other reading I finished the Bonhoeffer book and Little House in the Big Woods and am now reading through Little Women and Seven Daughters and Seven Sons (one of my "newer" yearly reads).  I kind of needed a break and something a little more lighthearted after the heavy stuff and older literature with older English (people don't write or speak like they did in the early days of our country).

Jordan and Leah are on Spring Break this week.  I'm having Jordan do videos to round out his time so we can make therapy days a full school day.  It's less work and we get to learn something different. So far we have watched a DVD on Glacier National Park and one today on Big Sur.  Leah has been trying to find some fun stuff to do.  Today she went to see Hunger Games with a friend and I noticed an Angry Birds kite downstairs ready for a trial run.  Mark is taking Friday and Monday off so maybe he can get a little rest and relaxation in as well.
