Question...
What is the difference between a visionary and a trouble-maker? This is just a thought I'm floating around. Both don't accept the status-quo and "the way things have always been done". We have been watching the Ken Burns documentary on Baseball and the guy who first used lighting in major league games was called a fool, his idea to lure in more fans would never work. He also thought broadcasting games via-radio would be a good idea. In my observation, the major difference between the visionary and the trouble-maker is that the ideas of the visionary eventually become accepted as simply that, "a great idea". I don't think most visionaries aren't just out there to cause trouble and stir up the waters, they are just able to see things differently and aren't "stuck" on thinking about a thing only one particular way. Where would we as a society be today if we didn't have people who thought "outside the box"? What do you think?
