Thunder the Coyote Movie

Jordan told me this morning that his latest movie, Thunder the Coyote, is going to be directed by Peter Jackson (could have something to do with the fact he is watching Lord of the Rings this morning). I guess if you are going to dream, you might as well dream big.

We are just doing some basic stuff this weekend. Mark is drumming at church. I am still working on recovery from the labrynthitis but seem to be feeling a bit better today. Leah has been shopping and is making some purchases for summer on her clothing budget. It's interesting to see her making choices and figure out how far this money doesn't go.

My grandparents like to keep track of gas prices around the different area where they have family. This weekend our average price per gallon this week is about $3.55.

Speaking of gasoline prices....we are thinking about buying some bicycles. I will probably use birthday money to buy the kids some bikes and I think Mark's is going to come out of our rebate check so he can use it to get to work on nice days (and it's good exercise). As for me, we will probably just save up the money to buy mine, I'm not in that big of a hurry and I could always ride Mark's in a pinch. (Although given how clumsy I am I think a bike helmet is probably in order.) If gas prices keep going up, we may all be riding bikes to more places. I did see a little blurp on the news that said that sales of motorcycles and scooters are way up. I know Mark would like to buy a motorcycle but that's just not in the budget at the moment.
