Easter Weekend

This weekend we were privileged to get to meet some neat new people who share our common bond of families dealing w/disability. It was a neat time of fellowship and relaxation. It was nice for all of our families to be at a place where behaviors, feeding tubes, wheelchairs and being overly loud didn't matter. Some of the events for the weekend included: a performance by "Elvis"; a family "Olympics"; swimming; and square dancing. We are hopeful that this will be the beginning of some wonderful new relationships.

Square dancing.
Jordan soaking in the hot tub.
Jordan and I getting in on a game of Uno. (Oy...Mom needs a haircut!)
Jordan on stage with "Elvis". Jordan liked the music but he plugged his ears through the whole thing. He likes music but he just doesn't like it loud.
It was neat for Leah to visit with some brothers and sisters this weekend who were dealing with some of the challenges of having a siblings with a disablity. Who knows, maybe some neat friendships will form.
Mark-square dancing.
By the way...do you remember my blog a few days ago, "I'm dreaming of a White Easter", well we got one!
