A Little Piece of Quiet

This evening I am getting a, "little piece of quiet" as one of the Butler kids used to say. Mark took the kids to the cattle trough (I mean Golden Corral) for dinner. I guess Jordan is about ready to sprout again because he has been eating non-stop for the last couple of days. I thought maybe there, he might finally get full.

It's so hard sometimes to know with Jordan what is the autism part of his behavior and what is normal puberty throwing a wrench into the works. I am trying to be patient and remember that this too will pass but some days it is just a bit much, today is one of those days. We still need to get some school work in but I think I am leaning towards getting done what absolutely MUST be done and making the rest of our hours fun. It's windy today and he doesn't usually handle the wind very well even on his "best" days.

Well I guess I had better make this "piece of quiet" productive and get done what I need to. I need to write our a test for history and that is best done without distractions.
