Jordan is on an eating jag. He has eaten almost constantly this week. I told Mark that it is a good thing we bought him some new pants last week because he is probably going to need them pronto. Summer is coming soon so maybe be can put him in shorts a little more often and you won't notice how short his pants are getting. By the way, Jordan is starting to wear some of Mark's smaller shirts. He is actually catching up to Mark in height pretty quickly. I may shop and the thrift store for him again this summer because who knows if he is going to wear whatever we buy the whole summer anyway.
Not too much is new today. Leah and I have been going over her lines for her play coming up next month. She is doing really well memorizing but is going to have to keep working on projection (lots of kids in her group need to work on projection so, she is not the only one).
I am starting to look for stuff for homeschool for Jordan next year. Some things I can find online pretty easily and other things I am just going to buy. Jordan is so all over the map as far as his learning goes, I can't just buy a curriculum set. We are doing parts of about 3 or 4 different grades (common w/autism, it is called scatter skills). I guess the important part to me is that he continues to learn. I want to continue to work on his weaknesses yet try and find things that interest him where he can maybe excel a little bit. We are really trying to work hard this year on de-coding words in Math word problems. He can do the Math part fine, it's just understanding what it is he is supposed to do. Also, he tends to read only part of the directions, that just isn't going to work, you have to read ALL of the instructions.
I guess I'll go and read a while Mark is studying for his next test.
