Leah

We finally got the acceptance letter today for that High School/College dual credit program that we wanted to get Leah into for next fall! She is really excited. We have also found out that 2 or 3 people Leah knew from her previous schools have applied for the program as well so we are hoping she will be able to slip back into some old friendships as well as make some new ones. Be in prayer for her starting now that this will be a positive experience and that she will thrive both academically and socially. If there is one thing I hope she will take from this year at home it is the NEED to stay on top of things and stay organized (yes, deadlines are important).

On another Leah note, she likes her acting class and is doing well. Her performance is next month and we are looking forward to seeing all she has learned. Her teacher, my friend Lynn, says she is doing well but needs to work on being heard past the first row. I know Leah was hesitant at first about this acting class thing but the presentation skills will give her confidence and transfer to lots of things she will need to do in high school and college.
